The short version
- We publish general trade ideas from independent research sources. It's the same alert for every member, not advice about your money.
- Trading is risky and you can lose money, including more than you put in with options. Every trade you take is your decision.
- Membership renews automatically through Whop until you cancel. Cancel any time and you keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
- Alerts are for you alone. Sharing or reselling them ends your membership.
- Disputes go to individual arbitration unless you opt out within 30 days.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
1. Who we are and what this covers
EDGE Trading Desk (the "Desk", "we", "us") is operated by [LLC name], a [state] limited liability company. These Terms of Service govern your use of edgetradingdesk.com, our Discord server, our alert emails and anything else we provide (together, the "Service"). By starting a trial, buying a membership or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract where you live. You're responsible for making sure that using the Service and trading securities is legal for you.
2. Information only, not investment advice
The Desk is a publisher of general, impersonal trade ideas and market commentary. Every alert, ledger entry, brief, report and post goes to all members at the same time and is not tailored to anyone's finances, goals or risk tolerance.
- We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner or tax adviser, and nothing in the Service is a recommendation that any security or strategy is suitable for you.
- We don't know your situation, and we won't give individual advice, including in Discord. Messages from other members are their own opinions.
- Nothing in the Service is an offer to buy or sell any security. We don't take orders, hold money or manage accounts.
- Using the Service doesn't create an adviser, fiduciary or other special relationship between you and the Desk or any research source.
Before you trade, consider your own circumstances and, if you need advice, talk to a licensed professional.
3. Trading risk and results
Trading stocks and options involves substantial risk of loss and isn't suitable for everyone. Options can expire worthless, and selling options can lose more than the premium collected, including when shares are assigned to you. Prices can gap through stops. Only trade money you can afford to lose.
Results on the Ledger and anywhere else on the Service are calculated from alert prices using the method described on the site. They don't include commissions, fees, slippage or taxes, and they are not the results of any member or of the Desk's own accounts. Your fills, timing and sizing will differ. Past results don't guarantee future results.
The public Ledger is published with a delay and may be corrected if we find an error. If an alert and the Ledger disagree, the Ledger's corrected figure is the record.
4. Independent research sources
Alerts come from independent research sources that we select and review. Each source uses its own method. We check, format and publish their ideas, but we don't control how they trade or how they reach their views, and their inclusion isn't a guarantee of future performance. We may add, pause or remove sources at any time.
The Desk, its owners, staff and research sources may hold, buy or sell positions in securities mentioned in the Service, including before or after an alert is published, and their positions may differ from an alert.
5. Trials, billing and cancellation
Memberships are sold through Whop, which processes payments. Your purchase is also subject to Whop's terms. We never see or store your full card number.
- Plans. The current price and billing period are shown at checkout (for example, $99 a month or $990 a year). Taxes may apply.
- Free trial. New members may get a free trial of the length shown at checkout. One trial per person. Unless you cancel before it ends, your membership starts and your payment method is charged automatically.
- Automatic renewal. Memberships renew at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. We'll give you notice before a price change applies to your renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time from your Whop account. Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise or we decide to make an exception. Contact [email protected] with any billing question.
- Chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us, we may suspend your access while it's resolved.
6. Discord, alerts and delivery
The Desk runs in a private Discord server, so you need a Discord account and must follow Discord's terms. Access to the trade channels requires an active membership and your agreement to the server rules. When a membership ends, access to the trade channels, phone alerts and alert emails ends with it.
We aim to send alerts the moment they're ready, but delivery depends on Discord, email providers, your device and your internet connection. Alerts can be late, incomplete, duplicated or not arrive at all, and alerts or levels can contain mistakes that we correct afterward. Don't rely on the Service as your only source of information, and check prices yourself before you trade.
The Service may change, be interrupted or stop. We may change features, channels, sources or the schedule of briefs and reports at any time.
7. Your account and conduct
A membership is for one person. You agree not to:
- share, forward, post, screenshot, copy or resell alerts or other member content outside the server, or share your account or access;
- use alerts to run a competing service, signal group or newsletter, or to trade for others for pay;
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools to collect content from the Service;
- harass, threaten or spam other members, promote other services, or post anything illegal, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights;
- pose as the Desk, a research source or another member.
We may remove content and suspend or end your access, without a refund, if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms or the server rules. Sharing alerts may also lead us to seek damages.
8. Our content
The Service, including alerts, the Ledger, reports, text, design and logos, belongs to [LLC name] or its research sources and is protected by intellectual property laws. While your membership is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use it for your own trading. You may share the public Ledger's link. Everything else needs our written permission.
If you post in our Discord, you keep ownership of your posts and give us permission to display them in the server and to use them, with your permission, in testimonials.
9. No warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, timeliness, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise any trading result, that alerts will be error-free or on time, or that the Service will be uninterrupted.
10. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, [LLC name], its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors and research sources (the "Desk Parties") are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the Service, even if told they were possible.
The Desk Parties' total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim arose. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Your decisions, release and indemnity
You're solely responsible for your trading decisions and their results. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release the Desk Parties from claims arising from trades you take or don't take based on the Service.
You agree to indemnify the Desk Parties against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your sharing of its content.
12. Disputes and arbitration
Talk to us first. If you have a dispute, email [email protected] with a description and what you'd like us to do. We'll try to resolve it informally within 60 days.
Arbitration. If we can't, you and we agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, instead of in court. Either side may still bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either side may ask a court to stop infringement of intellectual property.
No class actions. Claims may only be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding.
Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, with your name, the email on your Whop account and a statement that you opt out.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state] and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court case allowed under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [state].
13. Changes and ending these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll post it here with a new effective date and tell members in Discord or by email before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change. If you don't, cancel your membership.
You can stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on results, our content, warranties, liability, release, indemnity and disputes, survive after your membership ends.
14. General
These Terms, the server rules and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our not enforcing a part isn't a waiver. You can't transfer these Terms; we may transfer them with the business. We're not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
